What We Collect

MasterLeague collects only the information needed to operate your account and record your league participation:

Name — Used to identify you on results, standings, and schedules.
Email address — Used to log you in and send event-related notifications.

If you sign in via Google or Facebook, we receive only your name and email from those providers. We do not store your social login user ID, profile photo, or any other information from those services.

How We Use Your Data

Your name and email are used solely to:

Authenticate you when you log in
Display your name on court schedules, score sheets, and league standings
Contact you about events you have registered for

Third-Party Sharing

MasterLeague partners with DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) as our exclusive ratings provider. If you opt in on your profile to receive DUPR promotional communications, we share your email address with DUPR once a quarter for that purpose. You can withdraw this consent at any time from your profile page, and it will not be included in future exports.

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information to any other third party, except where required by law.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, your name and email will be removed from our systems. Historical match results may be retained in anonymised form for statistical purposes.

Your Rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email us at admin@masterleague.nz.
